Competitive Cheerleading & Dancing is much different than school or pop warner teams. We do not "cheer" on a sideline or attend any games. Our teams consist of athletes from all over the Bay area who want to be pushed to increase their individual skills while working with a team to create an amazing performance. We make teams dependent upon ages and skills and then train them together to achieve new personal skills and new team skills. We choreograph an action packed 2 1/2 minute routine and then take the team on the road to compete against other competitive all-star teams.
Our training season is from May until September, and then our competition season lasts from October though March or early April. Our teams practice from one day a week for younger and beginning levels to three days a week for advanced older levels. Our practices are a set year-round schedule and we practice week day afternoons and nights and weekend days for some teams. We compete about once a month during our competition season, and we continue to increase our difficulty and learning curve for our athletes throughout our practices during this time. We have many athletes that cheer or dance on their high school teams as well, and we pride ourselves on encouraging athletes to keep their grades up and to learn to balance their time.
